Aline Amike

Aline Amike is a Rwandan writer and multidisciplinary artist whose work explores the emotional tensions that shape everyday life. Through intimate stories and observations, her writing moves between essay, memoir, and poetic reflection as she explores larger questions about the experience of living. Realistically or metaphorically, her writing searches for meaning and understanding of what refuses to be understood.

Born and raised in Rwanda and currently living between Kigali and Berlin, her work is informed by a curiosity about the stories people inherit, the ones they resist, and the ones they create by living. Whether writing about childhood, career journeys, or the complexities of human relationships, she is interested in how personal experiences reveal broader truths about ourselves and the world around us.
